The traditional Christmas song says that this is the most wonderful time of the year, which is true in most cases, but I’d like to add that this is also the busiest time of the year for me! I never knew how busy running a handmade shop from my home could actually make me, but I know now! To all the other wives/moms that run a business from home, while juggling family, and [just] life in general, kudos. It isn’t easy, but it IS rewarding!
November has come and gone in a blur, with two big expos/sales under my belt. My sweet friend, Hannah, hosted an expo/sale in early November for local ladies with handmade shops to get together and showcase their work. It was a lot of fun, despite the rainy weather. I met a lot of other lovely ladies and was amazed at the incredible amount of talent right here in our area! Last Saturday was spent with mine and Calley’s 3rd annual HANDMAID Merry Christmas Sale at her house in the country! We had triple the amount of ladies there showcasing their work, and it was such a blast to be a part of, again!
This weekend brought Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and now Cyber Monday, which is tomorrow. I’ve been trying my best to get my name out there with my hand-stamped jewelry! I’m excited about the new items I have to offer, and am excited about what this new year will bring!
